This page covers two things: the Kaname iPhone app, and this website with its pilot waitlist. Kaname is made by Beacon Brain.

The Kaname app

Kaname reads only the messages you hand to it through Apple's Shortcuts app.
It reads them on your iPhone with Apple's on-device model. Kaname has no servers and does not send your messages, transactions or usage anywhere. The app contains no analytics or advertising code.
It never asks for bank passwords and does not connect to your bank.
Its data is kept on your iPhone using iOS Data Protection, and is excluded from iCloud and computer backups. If you lose the phone or delete the app, that data is gone.
Kaname never deletes anything from your Messages.
Before you turn message collection on, the app shows exactly which message text it keeps and for how long, and asks for your agreement.

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, trackers, third-party scripts or third-party fonts. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. We do not store that data with your email address.

The pilot waitlist

What we collect: your email address, the time you joined, and the date of the privacy notice you agreed to. Nothing else.
Why: only to email you about Kaname's pilot and launch. We will not sell your address, share it for others' marketing, or sign you up for anything else.
Where: in a database run for us by Cloudflare, which may store and process it outside India.
How long: until you ask us to remove it, or until we stop running the waitlist, whichever comes first.
Your choices: email hello@beaconbrain.in to see, correct or delete your entry, or to stop hearing from us. You can do this at any time.
